Wavepoint

Privacy policy

Draft, not reviewed by a lawyer. Before this site collects real user data or handles real payments, have a lawyer or CA check it against the Indian DPDP Act and whichever payment gateway you pick.

This page explains what Wavepoint collects and why. It covers the website and the practice platform.

1. What we collect

Account details you give us, such as name, email or phone, or a Google sign in. Your practice activity, meaning questions attempted, scores and streaks. Anything you post in the discussion. [Fill in: analytics tool, if any, and what it records.]

2. What we use it for

To run your account, show your practice progress, rank you against other aspirants on mock tests, and work out which questions need fixing. We do not sell your data.

3. Payments

[Fill in once a payment gateway is chosen: which processor handles card and UPI details, and confirm that Wavepoint itself never stores card numbers.]

4. Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except the service providers needed to run the site, such as hosting, email and payments, and where the law requires it.

5. Your posts

Anything you post in the discussion is visible to other people and may be indexed publicly, the way a forum post is. Do not post something you would not want public.

6. Keeping and deleting data

[Fill in: how long data is kept, and how somebody asks for their account to be deleted.]
